Joe’s Immunity Boosting Smoothie

Here’s a recipe for an easy to make smoothie that’ll help boost your immune system. It’s a variation of the classic strawberry and banana smoothie. During cold season, I like to make these to help keep my immunity up.  If I do get sick and have a sore throat, a cold smoothie helps make my throat feel better. This smoothie has lots of Vitamin C. Adding in the tart cherries are supposed to help with inflammation.

Ingredients:
½ cup frozen strawberries

½ fresh or frozen banana

¼ cup of tart cherry juice

1 cup of cold water

1 scoop of high quality protein powder

1 packet of Emergen-C powder

Directions:
Mix in blender.
